2024 Total Solar Eclipse in Vermont

Have you heard about the solar eclipse coming to Vermont this April? On April 8, 2024 at 2:14 p.m., a partialsolar eclipse will begin, and at 3:26 p.m., a total eclipse will darken Vermont’s daytime sky, lasting about 3 minutes. The phenomenon will continue as a partial eclipse until 4:37 p.m.

Whether you’re a local, or just visiting, there is plenty to do in our lovely state during your time here, especially with the multitude of events going on to celebrate the eclipse! If you didn’t know, the solar eclipse is when the moon passes between the earth’s orbit and blocks the sun’s rays, which hasn’t happened in its totality since 2017!  This results in a visual spectacle of complete darkness in the daytime. Depending on where you are in the world, you may not experience a total eclipse, but lucky for us, in Vermont you can experience a total eclipse for up to a full three and a half minutes.

What better way to enjoy this event than with a chilled craft beer in your hand? The VBA has got you covered! Below are some fun ways to spend your time in Vermont, and discover why our beer is worth finding.

We will update this article as more events become finalized. Hosting a brewery event? Email us!
