We feature 37 breweries each day, with 8 from out of state. You can see the brewery line-up here

• You receive 15 beer tickets for samples with admission attached to a wristband. This wrist band signifies you have purchased a ticket, are 21+, and are drinking alcohol. All attendees are given two tasting wristbands, you will receive one wristband with 10 tickets and another with 5 tickets.
• Official souvenir 9 ounce tasting glass with marks for a 3,6 or 9 ounce pour.
• 1 ticket = 3 oz.    2 tickets = 6 oz.     3 tickets = 9 oz.
• 9.0% ABV or higher & special releases. = 2 tickets per every 3 ounces. (9% sample ticketing:  2 tickets = 3oz.     4 tickets = 6 oz.     6 tickets = 9 oz.)
• Please do not remove your wristbands at anytime during the festival even if you have no tabs left on them.
• Tastings are only poured into official souvenir glass.
• Please do not pass on unused tasting tickets. By Vermont law we are the liquor license holder and we cannot over serve anyone.

• Additional beer wristbands are $10.  Each additional wristband allows for 5 additional samples. Tasting wristbands are available for purchase at the Vermont Brewers Association tent. There is a limit of one additional beer wristband per attendee.
• Additional beer wristbands will not be sold during the last 1/2 hour of each session.

• You must be 21 years of age to enter the event. We reserve the right to card at any time during the festival.
• A valid US Driver’s License or passport is required as proof of ID for all tasting session tickets.
• Children of any age, including babies, are not permitted.
• Dogs are not allowed unless they are registered service animals.
• All bags and backpacks may be subject to search.
• There is no re-entry.
• There is no swimming.
• You may bring an empty water bottle into the event.
• Brewery staff reserve the right to refuse serving any individual who does not cooperate with wrist band identification, ticketing policy, or if attendee shows any signs of intoxication.
• There will be no entrance for anyone showing signs of intoxication. Tickets will not be refunded if refused entrance

Tickets are non-refundable, this event is rain or shine. ID required for entry.

• This is a 21+ event. Anyone under 21, including Designated Drivers and children/babies, are prohibited.
• Valid IDs required to enter event.
• Dogs are not allowed unless they are registered service animals.

Yes, you will be able to purchase merchandise at the festival. Vermont Brewers Festival exclusive merchandise is available only through pre-order and must be picked up at the festival.

• Dress for the weather and for comfort—you’ll likely be on your feet, walking on grass, and spending several hours outdoors.

  What to wear:

  • Comfortable shoes (sneakers or flats; avoid heels)
  • Weather-appropriate clothing (layers are your friend in Vermont)
  • Sunscreen, hat, or sunglasses for sunny days
  • A light jacket or hoodie for cooler evenings

  What to bring:

  • Valid ID (required for entry and tasting)
  • Your ticket (printed or digital)
  • A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated
  • Cash/card for food vendors and merchandise
  • A small bag or backpack for convenience

  • Large bags or backpacks
  • Outside alcohol
  • Pets & Kids

  Pro tip: Pace yourself, drink water between tastings, and don’t forget to eat—there will be great local food vendors on-site!

We encourage all guests to plan ahead for a safe and enjoyable experience. As this is a beer tasting event, we strongly recommend walking, biking, using a rideshare service (Uber/Lyft), or designating a sober driver.

If you do plan to drive, please drink responsibly and plan for a safe ride home.

Parking Options
Limited parking is available near Waterfront Park, including public meters on Lake Street and the following downtown Burlington garages, all within walking distance:

• Downtown Garage (College Street) – entrances on College St, Cherry St, and Battery St
• Marketplace Garage – entrances on Cherry St and Bank St

Additional waterfront parking may be available at nearby public lots such as Pease Lot and Perkins Pier.

We recommend arriving early, as parking can fill quickly during festival hours.

• When you enter a Vermont Brewers Association (“VBA”) event or program, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by VBA and its affiliates and representatives.
• Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar VBA events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of VBA. You release VBA, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings.
• By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged.
• You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by VBA or the person or entity designated to do so by VBA. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.
