Join an Aprés Green Up Day Celebration with a Kentucky Derby Twist
The Vermont Brewers Association is proud to support Green Up Day 2025, a long-standing Vermont tradition dedicated to keeping our state beautiful. On Saturday, May 3, communities across the state will come together to pick up litter, restore our roadsides, and celebrate everything we love about living (and brewing!) in Vermont.
Green Up Day was founded in 1970 by Governor Deane Davis as a statewide effort to clean up Vermont’s roadsides and public spaces. What began as a simple call for Vermonters to take pride in their state has grown into a beloved tradition, uniting individuals, families, schools, and businesses. Each year, thousands of volunteers collect litter across the state, helping to preserve Vermont’s natural beauty.
Want to lend a hand and support your favorite local breweries? Grab a green bag, join a cleanup crew, and head to one of these events to celebrate all things Vermont: community, clean roads, and craft beer.
