VBA x Pour the Girls Events

Pour the Girls! is a femme-led community created to make the beverage and hospitality industries more welcoming, connected, and supportive for women and female-identifying professionals. Founded by women working throughout Vermont’s beverage and hospitality scene, our mission is simple: create a space where women can connect, share ideas, learn from one another, and build lasting relationships across the industry.

Upcoming Events: 

November 8: 1pm-6pm: Sip ‘n Shop at Black Flannel, beers and networking at ~2:30pm, a possible brewery and/or distillery tour, and then shop till we drop! More details to come

November 12: 4:15pm-5:15pm: VTCBC Women in Beer Panel. We’ve secured the first session slot at this year’s Vermont Craft Brewers Conference for our open panel discussion featuring five women in the industry with many different stories. Following the panel, there will be plenty of time to network and carry on the conversation before heading to BBCO.

Vermont Craft Brewers Conference

Join us on November 12-13th! This year we have a great group of speakers joining us from Vermont and beyond, 50+ exhibitors and industry partners, and sessions covering brewing, sales, business, marketing, workforce, mental health, and more.

A few highlights: Two keynote sessions, including a look back at Allagash’s 30-year journey and a conversation about beer’s role in the larger Vermont tourism experience; 18 breakout sessions plus four shorter end-of-day sessions; 50+ exhibitors and industry partners in the Expo Hall; A conference beer, brewed especially for this year’s event; Pour the Girls: Women in Beer Panel & Meet-Up; Two after-parties, including Battle of the Brewery Bands; And plenty of time to catch up with people you don’t get to see often enough!

The conference isn’t only about education. It’s a chance to get out of the brewery, connect with people facing similar challenges, and enjoy a beer with your industry colleagues

VBA Annual Meeting & Holiday Party

Tuesday December 8th, 2:00 PM, @ Long Trail Brewing Company

Each year, members of the Vermont Brewers Association are invited to evaluate the mission progress, affirm values and culture, review financials, receive association updates, and vote on new board members during the Annual Meeting. This year we have decided on a half-day format for our Annual Meeting and will end the day with our annual holiday party.
