Ten Bends Beer is a Vermont producer of distinct craft ales and lagers rooted in our region and origin. We are a culmination of workshop experimentation, creative discernment, and raw perseverance that has resulted in some of the highest quality and most sought-after small-batch ales in the Northeast. Our co-owners, Mike Scarlata and Jason Powell, began brewing together in 2012 in a roughly outfitted shed near the ten bends of the Lamoille River, where they began creating their version of the “Vermont Style IPA.” While facing the adversities of brewing craft beer in a harsh climate with homemade equipment, Ten Bends Beer was born. Today we operate a seven-barrel brewery in Hyde Park, Vermont, where we produce small-batch ales that we sell on-site and distribute throughout our home state. We have also partnered with one of the finest production breweries in the Northeast to expand the reach of our flagship brands to more than six additional states.
