Looking for a more private experience? We currently have four outdoor huts available by reservation only. We offer full service at each hut – there is a beacon light on the front with a switch inside to let the server know they are needed. We have the regular food and beverage menu available for service! The huts sit 6 people (are dog friendly!) and are available for 90 minute reservation times to allow for sanitization in between parties.

We want to keep serving you great drinks & food! Please help us by following these rules and keeping safety top of mind:

The CDC and the State of Vermont has lifted the mask mandate (in distanced outdoor settings). When inside our facility, we still need you to keep your mask on when you are not at your table. When outside, we need you to wear your mask while in the presence of others (within 6 feet), and we ask that customers observe strict social distancing of 6 feet while on location, to the extent possible. Our staff will continue to wear masks at all times. Practice good hygiene and wash your hands. Most importantly, if you are sick, please stay home! Please refer to vermont.gov for complete guidance and additional details.

We started the Harpoon Brewery in 1986 because—like today—we loved beer and wanted more quality choices.

There was only one problem: we were beer lovers, not brewers. We knew what we wanted to drink, but we needed some help actually brewing it. So we enlisted our first brewer, took over some warehouse space on the Boston waterfront, and began introducing fresh, local craft beer to Boston drinkers. We tried to do it in a way that captured the spirit of fun that had brought us to beer in the first place. From that warehouse, surrounded by fish companies on the docks of South Boston (neighboring what is now the Seaport District), we couldn’t imagine that craft brewing would become what it has today.

We still remember our days on the other side of the bar, and have spent as much time spreading the joy of beer drinking as we have focusing on recipes, ingredients, and brewing equipment. Hopefully our sense of gratitude is reflected in both the quality of the beer and the spirit of fun and enjoyment surrounding our beer and breweries. We invite all of you to visit our Boston brewery, where it all began, and our beautiful brewery in Windsor, Vermont.

See what’s brewing at Harpoon! The Harpoon Riverbend Taps and Beer Garden, located in the same building as the brewery itself, offers a full selection of Harpoon beers straight from the source along with delicious food to pair with your pint. Enjoy a beer inside the brewery overlooking our bottling line or outside in our outdoor Beer Garden area!

We bought the Windsor Brewery location from Catamount Brewing company in 2000.

We look forward to having a beer with you soon!
