Announcing: Mothership Brewery

Announcing Mothership Brewery

A New Name For An Old Soul — In 2004, the first beers brewed at 115 Saint Paul Street came to life under the name Zero Gravity Craft Brewery. Some 18 years later, as Zero Gravity had evolved into the craft beer staple it is today, the little brewery inside American Flatbread Burlington Hearth decided to return to its small-brew roots and let ZG soar on its own. Since 2022, the house beer at Flatbread Burlington has focused on its humble purpose as accompaniment to food and community. While the microbrewery settled back into its seeds of water, malt, hops, and yeast, a new identity quietly emerged.

They are excited to finally introduce a new name for this old soul: Mothership Brewery. A peel-shaped logo is a nod to their rustic roots at American Flatbread. The depiction of a mighty dandelion, a pollinator, provides early sustenance for the hummingbird to carry on along its journey. As the dandelion’s florets reach for the sky, it remains firmly rooted in the Earth. And when the flower has gone to seed, potential for regeneration comes full circle.

They’ve been crafting lagers and ales from the beginning and embrace the growing enthusiasm for lagerbier today while keeping a diverse array of ales from around the world. From light to dark, sessionable to nightcap, they are committed to showcasing the wondrous diaspora of beer.

A hard launch celebration is tentatively planned for Wednesday, April 22, in conjunction with Earth Day.
