Are you a Vermont Brewery seeking membership within our guild?
It’s easy!
Follow these steps to get the process started:
_ A copy of the Brewers Notice issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau
_ A copy of Vermont License to Manufacture Malt Beverages issued by the Vermont Department of Liquor Control
_ A letter of introduction that requests consideration for membership and includes the location of the brewery, system size and projected volume of production as well as the business model (brewpub, taproom, package, distribution)
_ A signed copy of the Brewers Association’s Code of Conduct adopted August 8, 2020
Once these steps are completed, send all of the relevant documentation to our Interim Executive Director, Emma Arian, and schedule a site visit with her and/or a member of the Board of Directors.
Upon the completion of a site visit, the Board of Directors must review the documents and vote the new member into the association either at their next meeting or over email.
Once this review is done and your brewery has been accepted, you will receive an email with the following information.
