Embrace the elements with this all outdoor winter themed festival at the base area of Bear Mountain at Killington Resort – a new location for 2020. Sit by the fire pits with the brewers who host this event while enjoying the option of a 3, 6, or 9 oz sample of beer.
Since 1991 the brewers and the Vermont Brewers Association have been running a successful event on the waterfront in Burlington, VT. Now, we have brought a second festival to the picturesque mountain setting of Killington Resort.

Food and retail vendors – More to be ANNOUNCED!
We are so pleased to welcome the following food and retail vendors. Gates open a 1/2 hour before each session for attendees to enjoy our many food and retail vendors. Please note that most retail vendors are cash only.
| Valid US Driver’s License or Passport is required. This is a 21+ event and no one under the age of 21 will be admitted to the event
| We reserve the right to card at any time during the festival
| Admission includes a 2020 souvenir tasting glass and a tasting badge good for up to 15 samples. You may purchase an additional tasting badge good for 5 more samples at the Vermont Brewers Association tent.
OFFICIAL TASTING GLASS
| You may choose your sample size. All attendees are given a tasting badge. Each badge has 15 samples. 1 sample = 3oz 2 samples = 6oz 3 samples = 9oz. Beers over 8% ABV will require additional tickets.
| Tastings will only be poured into official 2020 souvenir glass
| Please try make your sampling choice before entering the line at breweries so you don’t hold up the line for others. Beers are listed in advance on our website, our festival guide and are featured in the Vermont Brewery Challenge app
| Glasses must be placed in a bag or pocket or recycled prior to leaving festival site
BEER TASTING Badge
| Please hand your badge to server when ordering. Badges will be hole punched based on the number of ounces being poured.
| You receive 15 beer samples with admission. 1 sample = 3 oz 2 samples = 6oz 3 samples = 9oz.
| Additional beer badges are $10. Each additional badge allows for 5 additional samples. Tasting badges are available for purchase at the Vermont Brewers Association booth. There is a limit of one additional beer badge per attendee. Additional beer tickets will not be sold during the last 1/2 hour of each session.
| Please do not pass on unused beer badges. By Vermont law we are the liquor license holder and we cannot over serve anyone. By handing off badge you might be over serving someone and risking the festival’s license and future of the festival. Protect our event and do not pass off unused beer badges.
Tickets are non-refundable and no exchanges, snow, rain or shine. Tickets are non-transferable, ID required for ticket purchaser.
| You must be 21 years of age to taste beer. Pictured US Driver’s License or valid passport is required as proof of ID for all tasting session tickets.
| Festival gates open to the food & retail ½ hour prior to tasting sessions. Plan to come early and have some really good local food and check out the exhibitors.
| There are two tasting sessions noon-3pm and 4pm-7pm. Please see Get Tickets Page.
| Each session ends promptly and site will be cleared at the close of the session. Everyone must exit through the front entrance.
| Cash may needed for food & retail, there is an ATM on-site. Take advantage of the extra half hour prior to beer being served and have something to eat from one of our amazing local food and snack vendors.
| There is no entrance for anyone showing signs of intoxication
| Tickets will not be refunded if you are refused entrance
| No re-entry
| No large bags allowed inside festival- all bags & backpacks may be subject to search
| Please, no outside beverages or food. There is lots of great food and beer at the event.
|There is a warming tent on site with seating plus multiple fire pits. Please no claiming of chairs. Take all personal belonging when leaving for tasting samples or food.
| Yes it’s true -no dogs.
| Children of any age are not permitted, including babies. Everyone on the festival grounds must be 21+.
| Plan your tasting agenda. There are over 100 beers to choose from so save time by making your tasting decisions before you arrive. Beers may be subject to change and we cannot ever predict the demand for certain beers so we do not guarantee availability of any beer. Plan ahead, beer listings will be posted in advance of the festival on this page and our featured brewers page.
| Please be nice to the staff. They do not make the laws or polices, but it is their job to observe them. Please do not ask them to put their jobs or licenses in jeopardy.
| We are a tasting festival and operate under the same laws that your favorite bar does. If you are looking for mass consumption, we are not the place for you. If you are looking to taste some of the best beers in the world and talk with the brewers who brew them with a background of Bear Mountain at Killington resort then you should purchase a ticket.
| When leaving, glasses must be placed in a pocket or bag before leaving the festival or you may choose to recycle your glass at the gate
| Check the weather prior to attending. This is an all outdoor festival and we are open snow, rain, or shine so please dress accordingly. In cases of extreme weather, for your safety, we may evacuate you to a safe shelter.
