| You must be 21 years of age to enter the event. A valid US Driver’s License or passport is required as proof of ID for all tasting session tickets.
| Admission includes a 2023 souvenir tasting glass and a tasting wristband good for up to 15 samples. You may purchase an additional tasting wristband good for 5 more samples at the Vermont Brewers Association tent.
| Please have your session wristband visible at all times.
| There are three separate tasting sessions and each tasting session is four hours. Please see Get Tickets Page for details.
| There will be no entrance for anyone showing signs of intoxication. Tickets will not be refunded if refused entrance.
| We know they are cute, but children of any age, including babies, are not permitted.
| The festival is outdoors on the beautiful shores of Lake Champlain. Make sure to check the weather before a session, as we open rain or shine so please dress accordingly. In cases of extreme wind or lightning, for your safety, we may evacuate you to a safe shelter.
OFFICIAL TASTING GLASS
| You may choose your sample size. All attendees are given a tasting wristband. Each wristband has 15 samples. 1 sample = 3oz 2 samples = 6oz 3 samples = 9oz. Beers over 8% ABV will require additional tickets.
| Tastings are only poured into official souvenir glass
| Please place your glass in a bag or pocket or recycled prior to leaving the festival site.
BEER TASTING Tickets
| This year we are switching to wristbands with tabs, please put your tab in the bucket when ordering. Based on the number of ounces being poured and the percentages, you may need to place multiple tabs in the bucket.
| You receive 15 beer samples with admission. 1 sample = 3 oz 2 samples = 6oz 3 samples = 9oz.
| Additional beer wristbands are $10. Each additional wristband allows for 5 additional samples. Tasting wristbands are available for purchase at the Vermont Brewers Association tent. There is a limit of one additional beer wristband per attendee. Additional beer wristbands will not be sold during the last 1/2 hour of each session.
| Please do not pass on unused beer wristbands. By Vermont law we are the liquor license holder and we cannot over serve anyone. By handing off a wristband you might be over serving someone and risking the festival’s license and future of the festival. Protect our event and do not pass off unused beer wristbands.
| 7.99% ABV or less = 1 hole punch
| 8.0% ABV or higher & special releases. = 2 beer hole punches (ABV’s notated by hop cone images festival guides and on breweries tap handles).
| There are so many beers to choose from so save time by making your tasting decisions before you arrive. Beers may be subject to change and we cannot predict the demand for certain beers, so we do not guarantee availability of any beer listed.
The experience tent: Beer and Fermented food pairings
We are excited to bring back the experience tent this year and will be focusing on fermented foods and beverages! There will be two, 30 minute sessions per festival session, tickets will be $15 and include 5 drink tickets. Stay tuned for more details.
General Details
| We reserve the right to card at any time during the festival.
| Please, no large bags inside the festival. All bags and backpacks may be subject to search.
| Because we have food and retails vendors who have health permits to attend our event, we cannot have any outside beverages or food including pretzel necklaces.
| Only service animals are able to accompany a ticket holder.
| Please avoid the lanes where beer carts travel just past the green fencing area. We are moving over 500 kegs & 5000 lbs of ice to the brewers for your tasting pleasure.
| There are several limited tented areas for seating. Please do not save chairs. Please do not bring your own personal tents, lawn chairs, etc.
| There is no re-entry.
| There is no swimming.
| There is free cold water available from the water truck. We suggest a one to one ratio of beer to water. You may use your tasting glass or bring an empty water bottle to the event.
| Please be nice to brewery staff. They do not make the laws, but it is their job to observe them. Please do not ask them to put their jobs or licenses in jeopardy.
| We are a tasting festival and operate under the same laws that your favorite bar does. If you are looking to taste some of the best beers in the world and talk with the brewers who brew them with a background of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains, then you should purchase a ticket.
| Please be considerate of our neighbors. The waterfront is surrounded by condos and apartments. Please respect their property and noise levels when arriving and leaving the festival.
| Each session ends promptly and the site will be cleared at the close of every session. Everyone must exit through the front entrance. Please note there are restrooms near the exit.
| When leaving, glasses should be placed in a pocket or bag before leaving the festival or you may choose to recycle your glass at the gate.
| Brewery staff reserve the right to refuse serving any individual who does not cooperate with wrist band identification, ticketing policy, or if attendee shows any signs of intoxication.
| Our event photography and filming policy can be found HERE
